Volleyball Recap: Ell-Saline Victorious

Ell-Saline won the last time they faced Southern Coffey County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cardinals came out on top against the Titans by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ell-Saline took both sets by at least 23 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-2.

Ell-Saline can attribute much of their success to Callee Bradley, who had 11 assists and five aces. That's the most aces Bradley has posted over her last 17 matches.

The victory got Ell-Saline back to even at 12-12. As for Southern Coffey County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-15.

Coincidentally, Ell-Saline and Southern Coffey County will both be playing Central Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Lions at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
