Recap: Twin Valley Wildcats vs. Long Trail

Even though Long Trail scored an imposing 56 points on Saturday, the Twin Valley Wildcats still came out on top. Twin Valley walked away with a 64-56 win over Long Trail. The score was all tied up 31-31 at the break, but Twin Valley was the better team in the second half.

Twin Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Brown, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 assists. Another player making a difference was Noah Dornburgh, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.

Twin Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Long Trail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Twin Valley will head out on the road to face off against Leland & Gray at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leland & Gray is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Long Trail will take on West Rutland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in West Rutland's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
