Volleyball Recap: Camarillo Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Camarillo can now relate to. They fell just short of the San Marino Titans by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Camarillo took San Marino into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 23-25, 15-8.

Rhyan Muraoka paced Camarillo's offense, picking up 16 kills. Muraoka got some help from Ellie Feller and her 27 assists. Neariah Fasavalu controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

San Marino was led to victory by Ariminty Yu and Cynthia Kackstetter. Yu had 27 digs and four aces, while Kackstetter had 40 assists and 11 digs. That's the most digs Yu has posted over her last six matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Lila Wang, who had 17 digs.

Camarillo's loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for San Marino, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-15-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Camarillo nor San Marino have any future games scheduled.
