Baseball Recap: Hallsville Comes Up Short

Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 21-2 to the Mexico Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hallsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Mexico, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Hallsville has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Waynesville on the 12th. As for Mexico, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 loss against Eugene on the 11th.
