The Morse Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Tri-City Christian Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Morse is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.

Morse heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Wednesday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Canyon Hills. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Morse saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Okita, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Tri-City Christian came up short against Southwest EC, falling 7-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Tri-City Christian has suffered since April 10, 2024.

Tri-City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 17-6-1. As for Morse, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.

Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Morse has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .486. However, it's not like Tri-City Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .444. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
