            The Johnson County Longhorns will take on the Patrick Henry Rebels at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Johnson County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1  runs per game  this season.
While Johnson County's  victory against South Greene wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Johnson County had just enough and edged out South Greene  9-8. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Longhorns.

 Brock Jones made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Johnson County is 3-1 when he allows at  most  two  earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Jones was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Chris Wilson was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Sawyer Marshall also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Johnson County  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in six consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile, Patrick Henry came up short against Auburn on Wednesday and fell  6-1.
