Triad is 9-1 against Jersey since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Triad Knights will look to defend their home court against the Jersey Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Triad is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Triad is returning to their home court after beating Calvary on theirs, despite the fact Calvary has dominated at home this season. Triad strolled past Calvary with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 65-46. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Saints are ranked 213th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Jersey was able to grind out a solid victory over Father McGivney Catholic on Saturday, taking the game 52-42.

Triad better keep an eye on Jaxon Brunaugh. He was instrumental in Jersey's win, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was John Paul Vogel, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 boards.

Triad pushed their record up to 24-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games. As for Jersey, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-19.

Everything came up roses for Triad against Jersey when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 61-22 win. Does Triad have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jersey turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
