Soccer Game Preview: Creekside vs. West Orange

The Creekside Knights will face off against the West Orange Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Creekside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Seminole a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Orange). They were the clear victor by a 7-2 margin over Hagerty on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their one-goal performance the game before.

West Orange has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Creekside, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-2-3.

Creekside came up short against West Orange when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Creekside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
