Simsbury extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Newington. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Nor'easters. Considering Simsbury have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Simsbury has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season. As for Newington, they moved to 9-5-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
