McMinn Central had won four straight home games and Bryce Mullins did his part to make it five on Friday. Everything went the Chargers' way against the Austin-East Roadrunners as they made off with a 35-14 win thanks in part to Mullins, who threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

McMinn Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Austin-East, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, McMinn Central will take on Pigeon Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Austin-East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
