Basketball Recap: Verden Skates Past Rush Springs with Ease

Verden won the last time they faced Rush Springs and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Verden Tigers claimed a resounding 74-41 win over the Rush Springs Redskins. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Verden is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Rush Springs, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Verden will square off against Ninnekah at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Verden is facing Ninnekah at the right time seeing as Ninnekah is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rush Springs, they will take on Minco at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Minco knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Rush Springs likes a good challenge.
