Basketball Recap: Owings Mills Takes a Loss

Owings Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-21 loss at the hands of the Eastern Tech Mavericks. The Golden Eagles lost against the Mavericks in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 40-28 score last time.

Owings Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for Eastern Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Owings Mills will take on Chesapeake at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Eastern Tech, they will square off against Joppatowne at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
