It was a good run, but Norwich Free Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the East Lyme Vikings, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 13th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8, 25-6.

Despite the loss, Norwich Free Academy still got an impressive performance from Sophie Miner, who had 12 digs. Miner has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Norwich Free Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for East Lyme, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
