Volleyball Recap: Seventy-First Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

If Seventy-First was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Westover on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the South View Tigers on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 15-25, 25-22, 25-19.

South View can attribute much of their success to Giselle Colvin, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Colvin has posted since back in September.

Seventy-First's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-9. As for South View, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Seventy-First will challenge E.E. Smith at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
