Basketball Recap: Innovation Falls Despite Big Games from Kaleb Bielski and Jahniel Phillipus

Innovation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the West Orange Warriors, falling 59-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-51 two weeks ago.

Jahniel Phillipus and Kaleb Bielski certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Phillipus posted 11 points along with five boards and three steals, while Bielski went 6 of 12 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

Innovation's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for West Orange, they pushed their record up to 7-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Innovation didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-46 loss against Lake Mary Prep on the 22nd. As for West Orange, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-44 defeat against Winter Park on the 22nd.
