Baseball Preview: Lutheran Cougars vs. St. Dominic Crusaders
The Lutheran Cougars will venture away from home to square off against the St. Dominic Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lutheran is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
Lutheran fell victim to Jackson and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Fighting Indians.
Meanwhile, St. Dominic owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Howell Central. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
St. Dominic got a great performance from Noah Price as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. Price has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
