Preview: West-Oak Warriors vs. Pendleton Bulldogs
The West-Oak Warriors will be playing at home against the Pendleton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West-Oak will be strutting in after a win while Pendleton will be coming in after a defeat.
West-Oak can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 53-31 margin over Seneca. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win West-Oak has posted since December 4, 2023.
West-Oak's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Mobley led the charge by scoring 15 points along with four steals. Mobley has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Zoie Lawrence was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Pendleton suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 75-34 loss at the hands of Walhalla. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pendleton in their matchups with Walhalla: they've now lost four in a row.
West-Oak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Pendleton, they bumped their record down to 4-17 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
West-Oak strolled past Pendleton when the teams last played on January 5th by a score of 41-24. Will West-Oak repeat their success, or does Pendleton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
