Softball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View lost to Montrose back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Meteors, falling 21-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Montrose, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mountain View will square off against rival Carbondale Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Montrose is set to face off against their familiar foe Elk Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
