Volleyball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest lost against Central back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16.

Central found their leader in sophomore Alaina Honza, who had 13 digs and two assists.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 8-12-5. As for Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-8-3.

Northwest has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fredericktown on the 4th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Windsor on the 4th.
