Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Trojans vs. Shelton Chargers

The Trinity Christian Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Shelton Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Shelton will be coming in after a loss.

Shelton is hoping to do what Wylie Prep Academy couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to Trinity Christian's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Trinity Christian came out on top against Wylie Prep Academy by a score of 40-30. While the Trojans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-27), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Shelton scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Providence Academy, falling 52-30. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Shelton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
