Softball Recap: Northridge Beats Mishawaka for Their Third Straight Victory

Northridge took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Mishawaka, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Cavemen 5-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The team relied heavily on Willow Staley, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Northridge pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.8 runs. As for Mishawaka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-7.
