Basketball Game Preview: White County Warriors vs. Upperman Bees

White County is 1-8 against Upperman since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The White County Warriors will welcome the Upperman Bees at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as White County comes in on four and Upperman on 11.

White County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Cumberland County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 73-54.

Tripp Pinion was his usual excellent self, going 16 of 25 on his way to 41 points and seven boards. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathaniel Griffin, who posted seven points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Upperman blew past DeKalb County, posting a 77-34 victory. The Bees have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Upperman's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.9 points. As for White County, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.
