Basketball Recap: Churchill Comes Up Short

Churchill and Eagle Point squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Churchill had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Eagle Point Eagles and fell 68-19. The Lancers just can't catch a break and have now endured 13 defeats in a row.

Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Eagle Point, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Looking ahead, Churchill will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashland at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Churchill is facing Ashland at the right time seeing as Ashland is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Eagle Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
