Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Newfane came out on top against Gowanda/Pine Valley Central by a score of 36-26. The victory was just business as usual for Newfane, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

Newfane's record is now 7-0. As for Gowanda/Pine Valley Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newfane is set to square off against their familiar foe Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 14.3, the Lakemen 7.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Gowanda/Pine Valley Central will take on rival Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
