The United Christian Academy Eagles will take on the Northview Vikings in a tournament on Friday. United Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Northview will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row dating back to last season, United Christian Academy turned things around against Upland on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Highlanders/Scots. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Lariah Avila made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Avila was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
