Basketball Game Preview: Fort Kent Warriors vs. Fort Fairfield Tigers

The Fort Kent Warriors will head out to challenge the Fort Fairfield Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Kent will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Monday, Fort Kent took their match with ease, bagging a 57-13 win over Madawaska. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Fort Fairfield didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Washburn on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory.

Fort Kent pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Fort Fairfield, their record is now 8-6.

Everything went Fort Kent's way against Fort Fairfield in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Fort Kent made off with a 54-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Kent since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
