Basketball Recap: Urbana Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Middletown came into Friday's game looking for another win against Urbana, but Zizi Etolue wouldn't allow it. Everything went the Urbana Hawks' way against the Middletown Knights on Friday as the Urbana Hawks made off with a 58-37 victory thanks in part to Etolue, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

Urbana is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Middletown, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Urbana will square off against Tuscarora at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Urbana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.4 points per game this season. Middletown has already played their next contest (against Walkersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
