In this week's postseason power rankings action, one team rose to the occasion while another fell hard. We'll dive into that and more in this week's report.

Butler not only got the result it was looking for last game, but the team outscored its opponent Central Hardin in every quarter. Butler had all the answers against Central Hardin, winning 33 - 8. Butler's offense might have been extra motivated to turn things around after difficulties scoring in its previous game. The win also thrust it into the power rankings, where the team now holds the 25th spot.
Movin on Up
It was another game, another high-octane performance for Scott County last week (their 3rd in a row). It blew past Campbell County 36 - 13. One major factor in the win was the play of junior Bronson Brown, who ran for 182 yards and also punched in two touchdowns. Scott County's success was rewarded with a five-spot boost in the power rankings, the biggest improvement of any team.

It was a battle of top-notch squads when North Hardin (23rd in the MaxPreps state rankings) took on DuPont Manual (53rd) last week. North Hardin came out on top against DuPont Manual with a 14 - 0 win. The victory raised North Hardin up two spots in the power rankings.
No Stoppin 'Em
There were a lot of high-scoring contests in the power rankings last week, but the 84-point effort in this one put it right at the top of the list. Mayfield took its contest against Hancock County by a conclusive 56 - 28 score. Nevertheless, Mayfield did not have enough punch to impress the power rankings algorithm and slipped two spots in the rankings.
