The biggest upset of the week belonged to Soledad, who took down 653rd ranked Soledad, 24-21.

Carmel extended the longest winning streak in Mission Trail this week by beating Marina, 49-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Padres.

Stephen Hotta was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 115 yards on 20 carries as Stevenson fell to Pacific Grove. John Jackson also contributed to the rushing game with 63 yards on the ground.

Archer was the best wideout in the league this week as the Pirates fell to the Breakers. Archer tallied four receptions for 41 yards. Kazim Apaydin helped Stevenson's passing attack out by catching one ball for 14 yards.

Gonzales's Sergio Baez and Rhett Panziera have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Mission Trail in both passing and receiving yards. Baez has thrown for 427 yards this season, while Panziera, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has nine catches for 146 yards. Stevenson's Hotta leads the league in rushing yards with 479.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Greenfield takes on Carmel. At the moment, the Bruins are in sixth, while Golden Anderson's team is in first.

King City moved up to 713 from 757 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Mustangs climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Aztecs 24-21.
