Mediapolis lost to Danville back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 5-1 victory. Mediapolis might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Mediapolis is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those seven games. As for Danville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Mediapolis didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Notre Dame on the 5th. As for Danville, they will square off against Mt. Pleasant at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
