Softball Recap: Clarke County Wins Going Away Against Berkeley Springs

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clarke County). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Berkeley Springs Indians a 29-0 shutout on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Clarke County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Berkeley Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Clarke County Eagles face off against Central Woodstock Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Berkeley Springs, they will head out to take on Hedgesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
