Rossview took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Kenwood Knights 53-33. The Hawks pushed the score to 45-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

Ellie Hankemeier was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double with 29 points and 22 boards. Another player making a difference was Sid Carstens, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Kenwood saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ebene Hinton had 12 points.

Rossview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-33 loss against Goodpasture Christian on the 20th. As for Kenwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-32 defeat against Green Hill on the 20th.
