Commack strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the North Babylon Bulldogs as they made off with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

North Babylon's batters probably weren't too happy with Kate Schweitzer, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 12 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Schweitzer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kayla Hawkins, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Balvin, who went 3-for-4 with three runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Commack kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Commack's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 7.6 runs thus far. As for North Babylon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
