Basketball Recap: Fort Vancouver Comes Up Short

Fort Vancouver has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 73-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the La Center Wildcats. The Trappers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 61-43.

Fort Vancouver's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for La Center, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Coming up, Fort Vancouver will be playing in front of their home fans against Elma on Thursday. Elma is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season. La Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
