Recap: Windham RVT Mighty Tigers vs. Grasso Tech Eagles
The Windham RVT Mighty Tigers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They managed a 54-48 victory over Grasso Tech. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Windham RVT also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Windham RVT's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Colby Dunnack led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. Dunnack hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Fischer Jones, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Windham RVT has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Grasso Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windham RVT will square off against Windham at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Windham has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 590 points over their last nine contests. As for Grasso Tech, they will head out on the road to square off against Goodwin Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
