Baseball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

Chester took on Hemphill. in a bug-themed battle on Friday. The Chester Yellowjackets fell 6-3 to the Hemphill Hornets.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4-1. As for Hemphill, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chester will venture away from home to take on Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chester is facing Trinity at the right time seeing as Trinity is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Hemphill, they will challenge Onalaska at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
