Kennewick is 6-1 against Mt. Spokane since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will welcome the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Kennewick barely beat Shadle Park the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions' pitchers stepped up to hand the Highlanders a 12-0 shutout on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won eight games in a row.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mt. Spokane walked away with it. They blew past the Blue Devils 12-2 on Saturday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Kennewick pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Mt. Spokane, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.

Kennewick came out on top in a nail-biter against Mt. Spokane in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
