Baseball Preview: Farmington River Hawks vs. East Granby Crusaders
The Farmington River Hawks will challenge the East Granby Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Farmington and Hall had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The River Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Titans on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the River Hawks have posted since April 11th.
Farmington got a great performance from Xzavior Clark as he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Clark also tossed a walk, which is notable because the River Hawks are 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-7 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Farmington let Juan Bisono and Ty Nogiec run wild. Bisono went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI, while Nogiec went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those two RBI gave Bisono a new career-high.
