Basketball Recap: Churchill Comes Up Short

Churchill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 97-27 defeat at the hands of the Crater Comets. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 84-23 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Crater, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Churchill has already played their next match (against Thurston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Crater will square off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
