Cass Tech is a perfect 6-0 against Western International since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Technicians will head out on the road to face off against the Cowboys at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cass Tech has 15 straight wins, Western International has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Cass Tech's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Mumford 48-0. Given the Technicians' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Mustangs are ranked 417th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Western International's offense. They were dealt a 74-0 defeat at the hands of King on Thursday.

Cass Tech's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Western International, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Cass Tech against Western International when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Technicians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
