Jackson Warnock, Owen's leading hitter, solidified his role on Tuesday. Warnock wasn't messing around, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. The game was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Even though Warnock couldn't lead Owen over Madison, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warhorses haven't beaten the Patriots recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2019.
