On Monday, the Liberty Minutemen made easy work of the Halifax County Comets and carried off a 60-37 victory. The Minutemen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Liberty to victory were Moriah Tate and Shania Brown. Tate went 9 of 15 en route to 22 points along with eight assists and five boards, while Brown went 9 for 10 on her way to 20 points and six rebounds. Brown is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Emma Parker, who posted five points.

The win made it two in a row for Liberty and bumps their season record up to 13-3. As for Halifax County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Liberty has already played their next game, a 64-59 victory against Jefferson Forest on the 4th. As for Halifax County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-25 defeat against Martinsville on the 4th.
