Basketball Game Preview: Genoa Area Comets vs. Eastwood Eagles

The Genoa Area Comets will face off against the Eastwood Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Genoa Area is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Smithville just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 57-44 to the Smithies.

Meanwhile, Eastwood came up short against Delta on Saturday and fell 73-64.

Eastwood's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Genoa Area, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.

Genoa Area was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastwood in their previous matchup back in January, winning 61-51. Will Genoa Area repeat their success, or does Eastwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
