Soccer Game Preview: Kendrick vs. Shaw

Kendrick is 0-5 against Shaw since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cherokees will be playing at home against the Raiders at 8:00 p.m. Kendrick has given up an average of 6.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kendrick lost 7-2 to Spencer last Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Kendrick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 401st, while Spencer are ranked 195th).

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous six contest, Shaw brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their defense stepped up to hand Hardaway an 8-0 shutout last Friday. Shaw haven't had any issues with Hardaway recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Kendrick's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Shaw, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.
