Blue Mountain is a perfect 10-0 against Pottsville since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will head out to square off against the Crimson Tide at 4:30 p.m. Blue Mountain's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Pottsville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Blue Mountain easily dispatched Tri-Valley on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Eagles fell just short of Tamaqua by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Pottsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Wyomissing.

Pottsville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Rynard, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5. Landon Trout also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Pottsville's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Blue Mountain, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.

Blue Mountain was able to grind out a solid win over Pottsville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
