Soccer Game Preview: Muir vs. Pasadena

Muir hasn't had much luck against Pasadena recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Mustangs will welcome the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Pasadena took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Muir, who comes in off a win.

Muir is headed into the match having not lost since December 5 and will look to keep things rolling. They had just enough and edged out Burroughs 2-1. Given Muir's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Burroughs are ranked 558th) , the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pasadena has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 18. They lost 3-0 to Crescenta Valley on Tuesday.

Pasadena's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Muir, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season.
