Basketball Recap: Red Level Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Red Level had lost four straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it five. They took a blow against the Opp Bobcats, falling 72-35. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-15.

As for Opp, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 63.0 points this season.

DJ Hines had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 31 points and ten rebounds. Those 31 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Savon Barnes, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 13 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals.

Looking ahead, Opp will head out on the road to square off against Florala at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Level will be paying especially close attention to the Bobcats' game: after the Bobcats face off against McKenzie, they'll take on Red Level again at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
