Jimtown falls despite strong effort from Justyce Williams

The Jimtown Jimmies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Goshen by a score of 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Jimtown has suffered yet this season.

When it comes to explaining why Jimtown lost, one person who can't be blamed is Justyce Williams. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points along with three steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Butler, who scored 12 points.

Goshen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyra Hill led the charge by scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. Ava Yordy was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Jimtown has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Goshen, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-9.
