Baseball Recap: Searcy Takes a Loss

Searcy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.1 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the White Hall Bulldogs, falling 16-0. Considering the last time the Lions couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Searcy's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for White Hall, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

While Searcy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
