Basketball Recap: James River Comes Up Short

James River lost against Radford back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The James River Knights took a blow against the Radford Bobcats, falling 52-23. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

James River has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Radford, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James River won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Craig County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. James River is facing Craig County at the right time seeing as Craig County is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Radford, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Blacksburg at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
